We're a small, independent team with a background in software engineering, not in licensed financial advice. We built FinanHelp because most calculators we found online hid their assumptions behind a single, unexplained number — so we built our own, and we're upfront about what we are and aren't.
It started as a side project: a mortgage amortization tool that showed every payment instead of just a monthly total. As we added a settlement calculator, a currency converter, a refinancing comparison, and a savings projector, FinanHelp became a small toolkit — free to use, with no account required, built to the same standard across every tool.
We think this is worth explaining plainly rather than leaving it to a footnote. Here's the honest version of how the site works, end to end.
You can use every tool on the site — mortgage, settlement, currency, refinancing, savings — without paying anything or creating an account.
Messages sent through our contact form go to our own inbox first. We're not a call center — a real person on our small team reads and replies.
If your question is better handled by a lender, broker, or other specialized company than by us, we may put you in touch with one — but only with your consent, and only after telling you that's what's happening.
When we introduce you to a partner and it leads to a relationship with them, that partner may pay us a referral fee. This never changes what you pay them, and it's the same disclosure we make on our contact form and privacy policy.
Every calculator exposes the full payment-by-payment schedule, not a single collapsed number — and every figure is exportable to CSV.
We don't claim to be advisors, analysts, or a licensed firm. We're engineers who build careful tools — nothing more, nothing less.
If money changes hands because of an introduction we made, you'll know about it before your details are shared — every time.
Reach out through the contact form — we read every message ourselves, and we'll tell you plainly if a partner company is a better fit for what you need.
